Opensuse 11.2. Wireless bcm4328 won't work

I have a bcm4328 wireless card and it won’t connect. I am new with linux so I am not familiar with everything. Here are some screen shots of some of my information.

The BCM4328 needs the Broadcom-wl to work as the reverse engineering for that
device is under way. With Webpin, you should be able to find a package that
matches your kernel as it displays with ‘uname -r’.

You need to be aware that a kernel upgrade will break your wireless when you use
this driver - that is a consequence of using an out-of-kernel driver.

Thanks for the help. My wireless is now up and working, and connecting with the good speed.

Thanks

Erik

My wireless broadcom4328 does not work after the latest kernel update from few days ago.

I have found this very quick workaround with ndiswrapper on ubuntuforums (forum).
ndiswrapper -i bcmwl5.sys && modprobe ndiswrapper

The drivers to download: download link

ndiswrapper compared to the wl driver is brown and smelly

You probably didn’t update the broadcom-wl driver
And especially if you had the dud Packman repo
