OpenSUSE 11.2 running in VM - no network connectivity upon boot or re-boot...

I have an OpenSUSE 11.2 VM image that I built on SUSEStudio for OpenStack. After booting the image, I update the OS with packages, updates, etc. I ran the image for a couple of days. I then needed to restart my cloud infrastructure, so I snapshotted the three running instances that I had on my cloud, including the 11.2 instance.

After restarting my cloud, I launched the three snapshot images (RHEL 5.8, OpenSUSE 12.2 & OpenSUSE 11.2) to running instances.

The RHEL 5.8 & OpenSUSE 12.2 instances have network connectivity as they always had, and as I was expecting.

The OpenSUSE 11.2 instance did NOT have network connectivity, and I cannot figure out what has happened to this instance’s configuration, nor can I figure out how to properly enable the network connections.

I’ve tried YasT2 Network Settings and the Network Manager Configuration Editor.

I’m not an avid OpenSUSE user, but I need this 11.2 image for a software application.

Can someone help me out?

Kind regards, Marc
