I had had a few quirks in my Suse 11.2 and thought I’d run the repair in auto mode. It went through everything and fixed some kernel issues (cant tell you what they were) and two repository issues. Then it said I had errors in the Bootloader. Don’t know why as it had been offering the Suse and Windows choices which I could use fine. I let it make the repair and now I have no longer got my Windows boot option.
Before I mess something else up - how do I get Windows boot back into in the bootloader?
Have a look here for the method that best fits your problem.

Restore* /boot/grub/menu.lst* from your backup.
Thank you. That was very helpful and I’ve printed out the text to file.
Step 2 of the text for Suse 11.x doesn’t quite follow what my YAST actually shows but I managed to sort out the Bootloader.
But - I do now have other lines in the bootload such as old Suse 10.3 lines and a kernel-2.6.31… line.
Can I delete these extra lines while setting up the “Boot Loader Installation” and leave just Suse 11.2, Windows, Suse Failsafe and Floppy?
Yes you can. Always good to tidy up.
Great! Thanks for the quick replies.
