I’m installing 11.2 on a new system, and it appears that it installs the desktop kernel by default. What if you want to install the kernel-default instead? When doing a manual install via the DVD, I could so were I could remove the kernel-desktop and choose the kernel-default, but when running some installs using autoyast config, it seems to grab the desktop again.
I also noticed that when it installed grub, it incorrectly set hd(0,0) and not hd(0,1) for the location of the kernel and initrd files. Rebooting after initial install failed until I found and fixed that in the menu.lst file.
Anyone else run into this?
(Still digging around in the forums for similar observations…)
