openSUSE 11.2 DVD install

Trying to install openSUSE 11.2 in a dual-boot config along side Windows 7. It installs fine and during the first boot (before the installation completion) it is stuck with the openSUSE logo screen, not moving forward no error display nothing. This is with the 32 bit DVD version on Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, HP laptop. The Check installation media showed no errors. but installation is stuck. tried failsafe option from GRUB, it is also stuck after displaying something related to udev.

I burned a second 11.2 KDE live CD and it booted fine from the CD on the same machine, but it did not detect wireless network. Heve not tried installing from Live CD, trying to see if I can get the DVD install work.

As soon as the green intro screen comes up press esc. This should change to the verbose text screen and you will see all the processes being started. At some pint it will hang report the process that is hanging.

Thanks for the tip, I tried Esc and it switched to text mode.
