openSUSE 11.1 x86_64 won't shut down

Hi, about 75% of the time now it won’t shut down.

The last message in the log is

nm-system-settings: nm_sysconfig_settings_remove_connection: assertion "NM_IS_SYSCONFIG_SETTINGS(self)’ failed

and then it hangs until I power off the box.

Any ideas guys.

Did it work in 11.0, 10.3? May be another distro. If so file a bug.

You may get asked to upgrade to latest BIOS.

Old advice would be to try apm=poweroff but that’s not appropriate for x86_64 vintage boxen.
