openSUSE 11.1 local ISO install without burning FAIL

I can get to the installation GUI, but fail at the point “Initialize package manager”

What I successed,according to SDB:Installation without CD - openSUSE

  1. Downloaded the SUSE-11.1-DVD-i586.iso, saved it to an NTFS partition (FAT32 can not hold file bigger than 4GB).

  2. extracted the kernel and initrd to an FAT32 partition.

  3. GRUB loaded the saved kernel and initrd

  4. Selected hard disk installation, selected the ISO image’s partition, and specify the correct path and name of the image.

  5. Entered the graphic installation successfully, began the “System Analysis”

What I failed,

  1. At the step “Initialize package manager”, I got the error massage,
unable to creat repository
