I installed openSUSE and it’s running very smoothly on my laptop. However, the default GNOME theme is a bit cartoonish. I really like the theme that the installer used, with the green progress bar, green buttons, and the dark gray backgrounds. Is there a theme that imitates the installer that I can use on my GNOME desktop? Thanks for your help…

You can find many themes here: Eyecandy for your GNOME-Desktop - GNOME-Look.org. Download the zipped archive - you don’t need to unzip it - and in the Look and Feel > Appearance hit the install button and select the downloaded archive.
I think, by default there is no green theme in GNOME - openSUSE 11.1.
