I downloaded the ISO last night and I wanted to burn it today on my Vista machine with Nero Burning ROM 9.0.9.4, then I got this error saying that the ISO image is not valid.
Is the image corrupted? Is Nero to blaim? MD5 checksum is OK. I never had this problem before with ISO images. I don’t have an alternative program at the moment to burn this image. What to do?
The Official ImgBurn Website
ImgBurn should do the trick! I use it to burn live cd’s and DVD’s on my vista side.
It’s specifically made to burn .iso files.
Wasted my money on the Nero upgrade. It should just do what I tell it. I used Open Source InfraRecorder instead, but…
Now I have another problem. First I checked the media and that was OK. Then I tried to install and it comes back with the error message:
cd:/content: Invalid signature. Installation Aborted.
So there must be something really wrong the the DVD image. I’ll do a net install now after wasting so much time (downloading / burning ).
Looking in other forum threads it appears to be related to the system time. After setting the date/time everything worked fine. Thanks for the help anyhow!
