My guess is that it depends on how ATI & nVidia turns out the drivers; Distrowatch shows 7.3, but that could change very rapidly depending on how the drivers come along.

Alpha3 was not delayed, it was cancelled since it was uninstallable.
Finally found something in writing that confirms what I’ve been experiencing lately with Factory network install. Hope the Devs find a fix soon.
