In KNetworkManager I configured “autoconnect” for my wired eth0 connection (using Manual IP Config), but every time I log on I still have to activate the connection manually…

I have the same issue on openSUSE 11.1. I have ‘autoconnect’ on in a profile with a static ip address but networkmanager uses dhcp instead. I guess if there wasn’t a dhcp server, it just wouldn’t connect at all.
It is annoying because I NEED to use a known static ip.
