Opensuse 11.0 - Fritz!WLAN USB Stick - ndiswrapper - WPA

Hi folks,

i have installed a Fritz!WLAN USB Stick on Opensuse 11.0.
I used ndiswrapper like it is described here:

AVM Fritz!WLAN Stick USB unter openSUSE 11 einrichten - openSUSE

It works perfect on two different networks without wireless encryption.
I use the KNetworkManager on KDE 4 (latest updates)
As soon as i turn on the Wireless Encryption on my Router (Fritz!Box WLAN 3170) i am having problems to connect. It doesn’t matter if i use WPA/WPA2/WPE. It takes about ten tries until i finally get a connection.

Here is the WLAN-Log from my Router:

In English: Authorisation failed for several times until it suddenly worked?! And this is reproducable.
Is this a general problem with ndiswrapper and encryption?

I found a thread in an other forum telling this:
LINUX • openSUSE - SuSE 10.1 - WLAN: will nicht

And if this is a general problem with ndiswrapper can you tell me a wireless-usb-adapter, that works without ndiswrapper?

Thanks alot!

A little update:

It works with WEP. But only if i give KNetworkManager the HEX-Code. Very Strange :open_mouth:
WPA, WPA2 or WEP ASCII still dont work in a usable way. It takes about ten tries to get a connection.
