I have a lot of problems with 10.3, install hangs on one computer, Anjuta IDE Errors,
Desktop Online Update seems to install one update again and again.
And haven’t done much more with the system yet.
I’ve bought the 10.3 version is the downloadable 10.3 DVD different (better)

Apart from the Evolution issue, I haven’t found anything horribly
wrong with 10.3
IMHO this is a relative assessment, likely due to some specific hardware or configuration issues that you specifically have, and can not sort out. My experience on 5 PCs with completely different hardware is that 10.3 is overall way better than 10.2
In case you are curious, for improvements in 11.0 over 10.3, if you look at this URL (below) you will get a flavour as to some of the many updates put in place on 11.0. Testing:Features 11.0 - openSUSE
This could be your hardware, or a graphic driver.
Did you try removing the application that had the problem? Do a “SuSEconfig” and “ldconfig”, and then re-install the application?
10.3 runs the latest compiz, boots faster, plays well with one-click installs, is superior in the package management area and is extremely stable, albeit moreso than some apps.
If you are looking to upgrade I suggest you stay tuned here and wait a few more days for the advice on installing 11.0 to mature a little, and then try it.
