I need to determine what versions of openSUSE 11.0 11.1 and 11.2, both 32bit and 64bit, are affected by the openssl “record of death bug”.
http://openssl.org/news/secadv_20100324.txt
From openssl link:
Affected versions depend on the C compiler used with OpenSSL:
- If ‘short’ is a 16-bit integer, this issue applies only to OpenSSL 0.9.8m.
- Otherwise, this issue applies to OpenSSL 0.9.8f through 0.9.8m.
I need to make a report to my higher ups on what computers are affected, and I not a programmer so I do not know how to tell what is in the compiler. Thanks.
