OpenOffice doesn't work with gnome

Hi, I’ve installed opensuse 11 with gnome desktop, everything fine, just openoffice doesn’t want to start up; at the half of charging it, it desappear and nothing happen, i changed in kde4 and kde3 desktop, i lunched openoffice and it works fine, but my goal is working on gnome desktop. I tryed to modify the /usr/lib/ooo-2.0/program/soffice adding the line “unset SESSION_MANAGER” but it didn’t work anyway.
Help me let openoffice working in gnome, please
