Open Samba share in Dolphin: Time-out with ""Communication with the local password server failed

Hy,

updated my TWs with KDE and now I have problems with kwallet. One symptom: Starting Dolphin and trying to access a local Samba share fails with time-out due to failed communication with local password server.

Opening Dolphin in console I see:

kf.kio.core: Can't communicate with kiod_kpasswdserver (for checkAuthInfo)! "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."
kf.kio.core: Can't communicate with kiod_kpasswdserver (for queryAuthInfo)!

Resolves when rebooting (KWallet Manager is otherwise unaccesable) and disabeling Kwallet.

Uninstalling Kwallet (and subsequently re-installing Patters for KDE-Plasma6 + Framework, to get KDE back… cough) does NOT resolve the issue.

Anything known about this?
