Open port to range of IPs

Need to open port 1234 to 10.100.1.1/100 - how is this done? (not a homework or test q - just need a little help with a personal server)

Please provide more info:
openSUSE version ?
firewall on/off ?
How is the server connected to the internet ?

There’s no such thing as a prefix length of 100, it ranges from 0 to 32 in IPv4. If you have been imagining that’s what the / means, time to read up on it. Use the hyphen if you mean a range.

You can use YaST firewall module or just manually
editing /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2.

That file is self-documented and self-explained O:-)
