Oops

I have just been playing around with the screen resolution and OK’d a selected setting and now the screen is out of range and blank. I want to reset it back to the original setting but dont know how. Please help !! Thanks…>:(

Boot up into runlevel 3 (failsafe mode). From the command prompt (as root) you can run

sax2 -l

to start up with safe (800x600) resolution selected. Do

init 5

to return to desktop environment when finished (or reboot). Once your graphical desktop is working again, you can start graphical sax2 to configure your monitor with sensible settings again.

See man sax2 for more info.

You can not WIN the openSUSE Linux Game until you can ‘play’ yourself
out of the sticky dark screen trap.

SUSE CHEAT CODE: Read the rules before you play. This is not a game,
your computer and software are part of real life. Know the game rules
(and instructions) before you roll the dice, and you will be able to
win without outside help.
