Okay so I’m New to OpenSUSE. I’m Using 11.2 64 Bit.
My problem is that it will only boot sometimes.
Its stops at
Loading Drivers, COnfiguring devices 6.674500] ACPI I/O resource 0000:001f.3 [0x7000-0x701f] conflicts with ACPI region SMBI [0x7000-0x700f]
My Specs are as Follow
HP Pavilion 1352dx
4 GB DDR3 RAM
2.2 Intel Core 2 Duo
250 GB HDD
Some options that you can try:
Try adding acpi=off in the boot argument
This is a installer boot screen, but you do the same on your installed system, just type: acpi=off in the boot line

Try a BIOS update
Try a newer kernel version. You could do that easily be adding this repo and updating:
Index of /repositories/Kernel:/HEAD/openSUSE_11.2
Oops! Forgot to mention, i have tried those options and still the same problem.
WOW really.
So how is it if you boot in failsafe?
