Yast online update is installed, but no repositories were configured. On previous installations, they were.
Is this a known problem, and how can I pull in the full list?
Please post result of
zypper lr -d
I can’t cut-paste from XenCenter, so this retype may have errors.
alias name enable refresh priority type URI sesrvice
1 openSUSE 11.2-0 openSUSE 11.2-0 Yes No 99 yast2 cd:///
do this in a su terminal
zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.2/repo/oss/ OSS
zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.2/repo/non-oss/ NON-OSS
zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.2/ UPDATES
Once you have done that. Do this;
zypper up
That worked; the question is why weren’t the repositories configured?
I didn’t run update, that resulted in an unbootable system when I did this yesterday. I’m going to step through the updates to find the problem.
Don’t know why they were not there.Possibly a faulty install disk.
Did you run the media check, like this:
This will verify that the disk is not faulty. When you burn a cd or dvd you should always do so at the slowest speed possible.
