I’ve had openSUSE 11.1 with KDE4 installed for a few months now and have had no significant problems. I updated my Firefox to the latest version a few weeks ago and now when I visit openSUSE’s One-Click Install software site, I click the link and it shows Firefox’s Save/Open dialog, but where it should show across from the Open button > yast2-packagemanager (or something like that) it doesn’t show anything. I click “Browse” for the Open option and I have no idea where to link to the One-Click Install yast packagemanager thing. So I have to save the rpm to my folder and open my folder and install it directly, which is kind of a pain. I miss my One-Click Install. Any ideas on where I can link my “Open” dialog to, or a way to restore it automatically? Thanks.
Can I suggest you try konqueror browser and see what happens
Got it working. I tried doing it in Konqueror and it asked for my password, which I typed in, and then it said I was missing
http://opensuse.org/Standards/One_Click_Install
so I went to yast2 and added it to my Repositories where it automatically put it under a category called “Services”. So, now when I click from the One Click Install software site it shows the yast packagemanager in my Open dialog so I can simply click “Ok” and it installs through the One Click perfectly. Thanks for your help.
