on my pc with opensuse 13.2 and kde 4.14.3
driver xorg Gallium 0.4 on AMD RS880
the screen flicker a lot, it not should be hardware, any resolution flicker (1mm waves on the screen and trembling screen)
I tried to install ATI/AMD driver following this procedure (also made the procedure described in On openSUSE >= 12.2)
but it didn’t worked:
catalyst control center says me that driver wasn’t installed
screen was at lowest resolution
yast doesn’t works, and running yast2 command in konsole as superuser gives me this error
segmentation fault $y2ccbin $Y2UI_ARGS "$@"
BUT SCREEN WAS OK, NO FLICKERING…
so, how can I have a non-flickering screen??
