on my opensuse 13.1 with KDE 4.11.3 if in the task manager settings I have “only show tasks from the current desktop” checked and I change desktop some tasks that aren’t in that desktop are shown, I didn’t test many tasks but seem that on 12tasks of firefox one of thunderbird one of rekonq one of chromium one of dolphin 4 of firefox are shown in all the desktops.
-I rebooted ad it happens the same,
-the 4 firefox tasks showed in all desktops if I rightclick>move to desktop on them they are signed to be in the desktop 1
-in opensuse 12.3 with KDE 4.10 it works well,
-if from another desktop I click on the firefox task to visualize it, it goes to desktop 1 and then it is not any more showed in the other desktops
-the tasks that are showed in all desktops are rounded of a green line, does it means something?
does it happens to you too??
is it a feature ???
Yes, that’s the currently active window. And the taskbar entry you hover the mouse on will be marked with a green line as well.

This seems to work fine here with KDE 4.11.4, but I don’t normally use that feature.
Does it only happen with Firefox?
Do you have the openSUSE extensions activated? (Extras->Addons->Extensions)
Does it also happen if you turn it off (or on)?
Could be some redraw glitch. There are still some of those left even in 4.11.4.
Do they disappear if you move the mouse over it?
it seems that deactivating openSUSE extensions it works well…
It seemed to work fine here with activated openSUSE extensions.
Well, if it works for you now, fine. You could maybe try to turn it on again after the update to KDE 4.11.4 that should appear soon.
But you don’t miss much anyway: openSUSE Firefox extension - openSUSE
