Older Machine - Glory Days

Hello hello,

I have an older machine that is power hungry and sitting in the closet isn’t doing anything positive for it. Here are the specs:

Celeron 2.4
512 Mb RAM
10 Gig hDD (I’ve got a 200 Gig laying around)
2 Gig NICs

I was curious - Can I combine several server services like a file server, ssh server, dhcp server and add a firewall / proxy?

Much appreciated in advance.

My first Linux file/print server, firewall, and NAT box was on a 33 MHx 386 with
32 MB RAM. It served 22 Windows 98/Me workstations. It wasn’t powerful enough to
run Windows 98, but it served well. You can do the math.

As always, thanks for the response Larry
