I am looking for a live print preview. This means for example if I change to print two pages on one, I would like to have a preview how it actually looks like (e.g. regarding the margins).
I know that Okular has a print preview, but I think this shows always only the standard printing settings, right?
Is there anyway to get what I want with Okular? I think that acroread has such a feature but since its not anymore part of 13.1 I’m looking for a way to achieve this with Okular.

There is a method in Linux that works with all programs.
You just tell whatever program to print to file instead of to printer.
This means printing to postcript file, which you can then open and
display with several programs.
Some can print to pdf.
Then, you can use the command line to directly print that postscript
file with further manipulation.
