With 11.1, I was able to configure this to print in plain-jane text. In other words, I could create some simple ASCII text in KWrite and have it print to a multi-part form. When I upgraded to 11.3, I lost this ability. The printer switches into a graphical mode that not only takes forever, it uses a variable-pitch font (that I can’t change) and the form doesn’t print correctly.
Yast -> Hardware -> Printers, looking at the installed printer and drive, doesn’t give me that option. I’ve looked at everything I can think of, including the CUPS HTML config page, but don’t see any way to set it to do this.
Any ideas?
