Hey. This is not something new, every time i’d install opensuse it never plays OGVs. I’ve got all the codecs i need from packman, so that’s not the issue here. The files get opened technically, but they’re not played. So apparently the codec is THERE, but it’s used improperly or there’s some format mismatch, i dunno, but no players can play those. VLC doesn’t show anything, mplayer/smplayer just shows the first frame and that’s it. I haven’t tried other OGV’s than those i made myself using record-my-desktop. But i think it doesn’t really matter. Ideas?
Using openSUSE 11.4.
