odd boot problem

Since upgrading to latest Tumbleweed on an ASUS UA305 if I rely on timeout during initial boot options it won’t boot whereas if I hit return it does.

Problem of not getting past creating ramdisk looked like a need for updated microcode especially as a desktop with a Ryzen doesn’t exhibit same problem but if it were a microcode issue it wouldn’t boot under any circumstances.

There is a problem with ucode-intel that hit many Asus Laptops, though the real reason seems to be with Skylake CPUs. Workaround is disabling load of the faulty microcode by adding dis_ucode_ldr to kernel params.
