Quite similar — but in the morning, not in the evening as before.

I logged out and some time later logged in: I get a random background out of my collection every time…

The proper way to display Fastfetch! :hugs:

@jsmith64 What is used here? TIA!

Be sure to read the description of the video.
It’ll tell you everything and the video shows you a lot.
Be sure to select 1080 so it’s readable.

Reviving an Open-Source Masterpiece: KCometen4 Standalone on Wayland & Tumbleweed! KCometen6

And be sure to look at this thread.

I’ve tested it on CachyOS where I originally built it, but it runs great on Tumbleweed and Mageia. I haven’t tested it on Fedora 44 yet, but I see no reason why it wouldn’t run. You’ll see the floor in the video has backwards text, I flipped that so that’s fixed now and I’ve modified and added features to the GUI.

I’m getting ready to clean out the folder and may get it on github tonight. It’s very simple to build, read the video description or the thread with the Configuration Panel screenshots (they were from before I added more features and rearranged the options).

Pfui, Stefan, icons on the desktop …

That’s what it’s there for; what else? :upside_down_face:

BTW I get to see my background image only after logging in or when switching to a new virtual desktop; in most cases it’s covered with windows. Which begs the question if all those people actually do any work on their computers.
