Octave 3.4.3 installation problem openSUSE 12.1

I tried to install Octave 3.4.3 on a OpenSUSE 12.1 32bit system. However the installation fails. I installed GnuPlot, but I could not find the missing element libMagic++.so.4.
Can anybody help me with the installation of Octave 3.4.3?
Thank you

Usually I compile it myself, but I have a clean virtual machine with
12.1 and just installed the version from the science repository (which
is also the one I recommend) to check this, it has no depency problem.
