O2 Wireless Router

Hi,

New to Linux (about 2 days) but getting there. I’m using suse 11.0 and I can’t for the life of me get the wireless to connect to the O2 router.

I’ve gone through yast to set up the connection with the SSID although I’m not certain if I set the encryption right. I’ve got the wireless card working alright but it is a little shaky and doesn’t always pick networks up.

Was wondering if anyone has had similar problems and how they have solved it?

Are you using access point connection by MAC as well?

Use knetworkmanager in kde
or
Networkmanager-gnome in gnome

to control connections from the systray
