Hello everyone.
I have a machine with gigabyte m52l-s3 motherboard, with nvdia mcp61 chipset(actually nvidia 430 perhaps). 2 seagate 160GB harddisks.
I’ve installed a Win Xp with the onboard raid0.
The problem is this.
When i tried to install SUSE on it(11.0, 64bit), it recongnized the raid but can not read the partition table and erased it without a warning. Thanks to testdisk, I got my data back.
Does anyone know how to make it installed with the xp not erased?
I’ve tried fedora 9 and it works, but I prefer SUSE because I’ve used it for 3 years.
Or should I just backup my data and install SUSE and then xp?
