Nvidia Quadro NVS 300 512MB DDR3 Low Profile PCIe for 1080p playback under Opensuse 13.2?

Hi

http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/product-nvs-300-uk.html

I need a low TDP ( this card is 17W on load) PCIe card for a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo E7936 with a built in 250W PSU on board.

I’d like something I can use to watch 1080p movies/content and be well supported in Opensuse 13.2. Nvidia is on the list of the official linux drivers so I guess that part is sorted.

Anyone has experience with this particular card and HD 1080p content?

Regards,

Viktor

Maybe go for the Nvidia NVS 310 512MB DDR3 ( it uses at max 19W) ?

Found on ebay an Nvidia NVS 315 1024mb ddr3 ram low profile card with the necessary dual dvi adapters for 40€ (on amazon would have been 90-100€ new) the nvs 315 consumes the same maximum 19.5W

Lets see how well it goes for what i need
