nvidia problem

hi,
I’ve just updated my computer and when I run ‘glxgears’ the software works but I have th efollowing error message:

Error: API mismatch: the NVIDIA kernel module has version 185.18.14,
but this NVIDIA driver component has version 185.18.36. Please make
sure that the kernel module and all NVIDIA driver components
have the same version.
18699 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3739.672 FPS

I tried to reinstall nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-default, it didn’t change anything, then I tried the drivers nvidia-gfxG02-kmp- (ec2 then pae, trace…) and it didn’t change anything too

I don’t know how to downgrade nvidia driver component to 185.18.14 or update nvidia kernel module to 185.18.36
Does anybody have the same problem?

If you are using default kernel you should look at just the Yellow dots:
ImageBam - Fast, Free Image Hosting and Photo Sharing

The version numbers will be different than in the picture, but all you need is Yellow for Default
Red for PAE
Whichever you are

sorry for annoyance, I just rebooted and I don’t see any problem any more

désolé pour le dérangement, j’ai rebooté mon PC et je ne vois plus de probleme

No worries, reboot or at least logout always needed.
