Nvidia Graphic Card 32 MB detected as 64MB

HI, i have installed open suse11 and AGP Slot Nvidia Graphice Card of 32 MB but suse shows it as 64 MB. i try it to reinstall again but i fail.

then i plug in a new graphic card TRIO 3D2X S3 8 MB AGP but now suse cann’t enter me Graphic mode just in command mode and message . kindly tell me how i fix my problem in both cases.

In either case, when you get to the command prompt, log in as root, enter this command:

sax2 -r

Sax2 should start. Go to “change configuration” and make sure your video device and monitor are correctly detected. If not, you can test different ones. If your monitor is not being detected correctly, and you have a Windows driver CD with an .inf file for the monitor, sax2 can read the info off that to properly detect your monitor.

When you exit sax2 and go back to the command prompt, enter this command:

reboot
