nvidia-gfxG04-kmp warnings on install

I had removed nvidia-gfxG04-kmp (because of tearing)
and installed the official driver from their website.
When I did a zypper dup it re-installed the openSUSE driver
(I guess I need to set it as taboo?),
and I noticed that it spits out like 1,000,000 lines of warnings at install.
It went on for a while… but it was too fast for me to read anything.

Is this expected?
Is there a way to check / copy these warnings after zypper dup has finished?

Driver is automatically Supplemented when matching hardware is detected. If you do not want to use this driver, just remove repository.

Your terminal program does not have scroll buffer?

Thanks.

I’ve been using the virtual terminal (ctrl+alt+f1) for zypper dup.

It is recommend to unistall the driver before installing the other driver.

Thats maybe causing this issue.

And yes, why do you have enabled the nvidia Repo if you installed it the hard way?

If you use Plasma, just as a super user go to /etc/profile.d/
and create a file with the name tearing.sh and in copy paste

**export __GL_YIELD="USLEEP"
****export KWIN_TRIPLE_BUFFER=1**

Save and restart
