Nvidia geforce gtx 580 only 60fps

I have a Geforce GTX580 with 3GB GDDR5 memory graphic card.
Opensuse 12.1 x86_64
OpenSuse propietary Nvidia 3D driver NVIDIA 304.43 installed.

But glxgears is only 60 fps

If you uncheck sync to vblank in nvidia-settings it will increase.
