Nvidia GEForce 6150SE driver

11.4 GM 64bit KDE - I’m about to switch drivers from the installed “nouveau” driver. Yast reports my graphics hardware as “GeForce 6150SE”, but when I try to download the appropriate driver from the Nvidia site it only shows a “GeForce 6150SE nForce 430” driver. Can I assume that the “nForce 430” designation does NOT make it incompatible?

Thanks.

nForce 430 is a Nvidia south bridge chipset that usually is shipped with the 6150 north bridge chipset - are you looking at motherboard drivers, not graphic drivers? what is site address?

you could compile you’re own drivers, not hard and there are instruction available
