Nvidia Drivers

I’m running SUSE 11.3 with KDE 4.4.4, last night I installed the proprietary Nvidia drivers for my MSI NX8600GT card using this guide. After restarting all the text on my computer became so small it’s almost unusable. I found the settings to change most of it back in desktop settings, but it’s still small in the tool bars at the tops of my programs, in the terminal and at the log in screen. The only difference I see between using the guide and just adding the repository and installing the drivers I see is that it takes a bit longer to boot my computer with the changes I made, both ways gave me this smae problem with the small text.

Thanks
Dan

Try to change the DPI settings in KDE. (System settings -> Apperarance -> fonts). If you select 120 DPI, the fonts will look (definitely!) bigger. Normally 96 DPI is fine in most cases.
If nvidia created an /etc/X11/xorg.conf, look if you can find something DPI related in this file.

That fixed it. I actually set the things back to default, that I had changed when it first happened, because it made things to big.

Thanks for the help.
