Ask in that thread I don’t have Optimus device so can not test it. The people that re trying it are in that thread
Not sure how to respond that you don’t know if you installed the NVIDIA driver or not You did you you did not. You should know. It does not happen by magic.
I thinks that you are right but I really don’t know if I have install the nvidia driver I just follow the tutorial without knowing most of the used command line.
Well you could go to yast software management and see if any nvidia packages are installed (note packages with nvidia in the names not just found with nvidia search) But if you installed bumblebee and nvidia-bumblebee then a previous driver install may not show but there still may be changes left. That is why you must uninstall a driver before installing a different version. Only you can know if you attempted to use the regular NVIDIA driver or not. Unless you tell use we have no way of knowing what you did or did not do.
can anyone use team viewer to help me. I know it is risky to let someone I don’t know enter my pc with team viewer but it is the only way I have spend much time to configure my nvidia but nothing works.
I can reinstall my opensuse after knowing the steps of configuration.
Saw you got Bumblebee working. The moderator did not make the thread sticky (eventhough a lot of requests is about nvidia, in particular, optimus) instead they moved it to a forum where it is harder to find.
Nevertheless I hope somebody will update the wiki, I am using the time I have free for providing Tumbleweed support for suse-prime.
