nVidai fail to install

I really don’t know why this happen. I have make, gcc, kernel-source. But anyway this is what happen when I try to install it.

I’m really don’t know what to do next. And I just install 11.2.

Sorry for the double post(it did not let me edit sigh). It look like I need kernel-syms(NVIDAI hard way). Will it look like I’m good for now. I hope 11.2 will be nice to me. ^.^

Did you install the kernel development packages via yast? I just selected those ones, the c/c++ development while the first install.So on my system kernel-source and linux-kernel-headers are installed. Using those packages I was able to install the nvidia modules 190.42 via shell without any hickups.

On RC1 I had to install the headers manually, but since RC2 I guess the will be installed by the kernel development packages again.


Just follow the instructions from the URL you posted, don’t forget to fire those make commands and everything will be fine. I just installed nvidia drivers that way.
