Peace, the current version of nrpe is very old, when are you gonna move to v4.0…?
You need to contact the package maintainers. There’s no guarantee that they read the forums.
Agreed, but keep in mind also that these kinds of data collection agents (I assume you’re talking about nrpe related to Nagios) are extremely simple so continue to work just fine indefinitely. This is one situation where old isn’t necessarily so bad it should be avoided.
