I got scared right now, because for some reason i logged in the novell forum. Apparently i have an account there too.

Is that in any way connect to this forum or is it something really different?

It use to be for openSUSE until the formation of this forum 
It covers all the Novell Products including SLED and SLES which is where I hang out

You can even login to Novell’s website with your forum credentials
The Novell forums are for peer support of Novell’s commercial software products.
