Nothing provides mysql-devel

Hi,

I am trying to build one of my packages (sisiya-edbc-libs) on CentOS 8, but the build does not start. I get the message “nothing provides mysql-devel”. I know that on CentOS 8 the mysql-devel is in the AppStream repo. I have added this repo to the list of “Repository Paths” for CentOS 8 without success. Any ideas?

I think I have found a solution. mysql-devel actually installs mariadb-devel. I am changing my SPEC file accordingly.

How did you do that ? I have the error “Nothing provides python2” for CentOS 8 and I see that python2 is part of Appstream repo. I would like to add this in my project but don’t know how to do ?
