Not working network Dell Inspiron N4110

Good day,

OpenSuSE 12.1 64 bits it’s working with wired network.
I tried to supply the wireless network and to stopped functioning the services of network, disappeared the network icon. Network connection it’s empty. I tried with yast, ifup or Network Manager with any results.
How to enable network services?

Thanks for your time,

Regards,

welcome!!

not eveyone, but most find most of there wireless problems are solvable
by following the hints in the three stickies at the top of the wireless
forum, here http://tinyurl.com/4lq2s9z

and, those who can’t get going by following those do get instructions in
them on exactly what infomation you need to provide the wireless gurus
so that they can help you…

please work through those three and if you can’t going please post to
the wireless forum with the needed info…

what happened to cause that? what changed? did you change something
trying to get wireless to work? what?

if your wired doesn’t ‘just work’ then you got some problems…answer
the above questions and tell us all about your hookup and etc in the
correct forum: http://tinyurl.com/4nk8692

and still, to get wireless working go to the wireless network and see
the three stickies…

do not post to this thread…well, if you want PM a moderator and ask
it be moved to the right place . . .

If you applied updates after the installation, then there’s an updated
version of NetworkManager, and a reboot is necessary to get it to show up
again.
