Volume of sound is minimal compared to my MS OS, any ideas?

Welcome to the opensuse forum.

Are you using opensuse 11.3? Assuming that you are, you might want to:-

  1. click on the sound icon (bottom right of your screen)

  2. click on the ‘mixer’ button

  3. this will open the different sound options - so check the levels using the sliders

  4. if they are set high - click on the channels option and drag the ‘front’ option across (if this is set to mute - adjust this)
