Tumbleweed (KDE) are unable to mount a 256gb micro sd card. The card are identified and shown by notifications/most recent device, but cannot be mounted.
Card formatted in Extended FAT format from factory.
Windows computer mount and access the card no problem.
When booting from G-parted 0.33.0-1 the card are read and shown in the partition software.
I do really not like to do things on windows, as I do not own a Windows computer. Had to ask someone to help to get the data of.
Any ideas.
Thanks
Hi,
Install exfat-utils, it will pull in fuse-exfat. You might need a reboot to effect some system changes.
Thanks. Installing now. That should take care of the problem on the computer, now to get LOS 15.1 to read the card consistently when inserted in mobile phone. Currently the files are not always displayed at all, even thought the card are shown as being mounted and available. Have posted a question on XDA, hoping some one will be able to help over there.
Thanks again.
