Im trying out the new 13.2 distro on my laptop and am really impressed! All the niggles that 12.3 had seem to have vanished, so hats off to all those involved!
Anyway, that aside, im having a small problem with my hardware/software. This may be something real simple that im just overlooking but for some reason I an unable to update or even check for updates without my USB key present and plugged into my laptop. Once ive plugged in, everything works smoothly until reset then the error appears again. I am constantly getting notifications alerting me that the USB key is missing until I plug in.
Im not going to pretend I know the ins and outs of Linux but I would say im about the beginner area but have dabbled in a few distros.

Did you install it to your hard disk or are you booting off the USB stick?
In the latter case you cannot unplug it since it contains your operating system.
If you did install it to your hard disk, enter YaST->Software Repositories and disable or remove the USB medium there.
If you are not sure which one it is, either post a screen shot or the output of the following run in a terminal window:

Not certain what this is about as I only have the title to go on but
I’m guessing it has something to do with the message I got from YaST
when trying an update after installing 13.1-RC2 from USB stick.
I got round it first time by selecting ‘skip’. To prevent further
occurrences, I selected ‘configuration => repositories’ in the Software
Manager menu and removed the tick from the ‘autorefresh’ column against
the USB stick. Problem solved.

Secondly, thank you for all your responses but it seems to have fixed itself. If it occurs again then I shall try the suggestions given and if that fails, post up on here again.
