Hi
As root user, can you post the output from;

systemctl status systemd-backlight@acpi_video0.service

hiii here it is output for that code:

systemd-backlight@acpi_video0.service - Load/Save Screen Backlight Brightness of acpi_video0
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/systemd-backlight@.service; static)
Active: active (exited) since Fri 2014-10-24 20:03:53 IST; 1min 25s ago
Docs: man:systemd-backlight@.service(8)
Process: 608 ExecStart=/usr/lib/systemd/systemd-backlight load %I (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)

Hi
So that looks ok, I’m guessing if you look at the output of lsmod then
sony-laptop is present. Must be an acpi thing, as in the other thread,
might be time to raise a bug on this.
