Non-sane scanner with Wine?

Hello,

I have an usb scanner (Mustek compatible) that is not supported by sane.
Did anybody ever try (un-)successfully to install ScanWizard under Wine/VirtualBox etc.?

what is the model of your scanner?

It’s a medion 90070 (see Scanner information).

I think I read womewhere it is compatible with Microtec ScanMaker (6000 or 5700 or such with ALI chipset).

The manufacturer ID is definitely Microtek, so it is one of their unsupported usb scanners.
